Dear Heather,

As a trainer and gym owner I thought I knew what I needed to do during my first pregnancy. I worked out at our gym and did cardio almost everyday. But upon returning to my workouts after my first son, Ty was born I could not even do a push up! My core was so weak and it took me a long time to return to my pre-pregnancy weight and state of health. I vowed to change something the next time. I joined Stroller Strides when I found out I was pregnant with my second child and have never looked back. I only gained half the amount of weight that I did with my first, I felt amazing during my entire pregnancy and I even took class the day before I delivered. I was also able to run throughout my entire pregnancy because of not gaining as much weight. When I returned six weeks after my second son, Cruz was born I was so strong and it was almost like I never missed a beat.
