In response to our 2009 survey results, many members told us that in order to fit in with their baby's nap schedule, they would like to have the option of attending later morning classes.
In response to this, effective March 8th, we are ADDING an 11:00 class at Mission Bay on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The class will be taught by Sibylle and will be meeting at the same start location of our 9:30 classes.
This class is a test class and is scheduled to be offered until June 30th.
We would love to see you out there!

Some of our locations have indoor meeting spots so that classes can continue on when it is raining. If you have questions about whether the class you normally attend will be meeting at an alternate location, please email or call the instructor the morning of class to find out where they will be meeting. Below are the locations with an alternate plan in place:

Encinitas Leo Mullen Park alternate plan:
If it is raining in the morning, we will be meeting at Westfield Plaza Camino Real in Carlsbad which is located at 2525 El Camino Real. We will meet in the mall at the entrance next to the Pat and Oscars restaurant at 9:00am. Class will be held at the park as usual if it is sprinkling or drizzling. The mall location will be used when there is heavy rain. Please email the instructor Jacqui at jacquilynv@yahoo.com or call her at 949-338-0464 if you have any questions about where class will be meeting.

4S Ranch alternate plan:
We have the option to meet at the Westfield North County Fair Mall on rainy days. A decision will be made at 8am. The playgroup captain will post to the Yahoo Group directing members either to the mall or to the regular starting location. Please be sure that you are a member of the Yahoo Group at this location and check for a post at 8am on rainy days so that you know where to go!

Vista alternate plan:
As we are in the midst of California's rainy season, it is good to have a Rainy Day Plan.
If it is just lightly drizzling on the morning of class, and the sidewalks are not unsafe to walk and push a stroller on, class will be held at the normal location of Shadowridge Park in Vista. Please be sure to dress the kids warmly, and bring a rain shield for your stroller.
In the case of heavy rain on the day of class, we are fortunate enough to have the option to hold class at the Plaza Camino Real Mall in Carlsbad. However, to prevent confusion, the instructor will always post an update on the Yahoo Vista Stroller Strides Group page and send out an email to members, no later than 8:30 am the morning of class, informing the members where to meet for class.
If there is ever a question as to where class will be conducted, please refer to the Yahoo Groups Vista Stroller Strides Page and group email. However, if you are not yet a member, please email the instructor, fit_moms_rock@yahoo.com, and she will be more than happy to answer all your questions!

La Costa Resort and Spa alternate plan:
We have the option to meet at one of the conference rooms at the Spa if available or the Westfield North County Fair Mall on rainy days. A decision will be made at 8am, it will be posted on the Nesting chat group directing members either to the mall or to the regular location. Make sure that you are a member of the Nesting Group at this location and check for a post at 8am on rainy days so that you know where to go!

Fit4Baby is a 60-minute class including cardio, strength, core and flexibility training appropriate for all stages of pregnancy and fitness levels. Classes are held Tuesday @ 7:00 pm, Thursday @ 4:30 pm and Saturday at 11:30 am. at Tri-City Wellness Center in Carlsbad.Click on the ad at the right to view the flier for this program.Physician’s clearance form required before participating (see link below to print out this form).

We meet every month on the 1st Thursday of the month at 10:30 am for a Stroller class through Legoland. Please click on the Legoland link below for more information.

Join us on the third Wednesday of each month for an incredible work-out at Sea World! The Class is free! You must pay admission to the park or purchase an annual pass. We will meet on the hour in front of the main entrance when the park opens. The class will start 15 minutes after the park opens. Come stay after class and visit the play area Bay of Play.
