Valentine's Day Speciatly Class at Tri-City Park 2/14!

This month to celebrate Valentine's Day we will be having all our class locations gather at Tri-City Park on February 14th for a special Valentine's Day themed workout! After class we will be having a pot luck style party. Everyone is encouraged to bring a "Heart Healthy" item to the park to share with friends. An evite will be sent out so everyone can post what they will be contributing. Please also bring Valentines to share with all the kids. You can simply write "To: My Friend, From: Your Child's Name" on each card.

There will not be class at Box Canyon Park this day.

BREA NIGHT CLASS CHANGE OF LOCATION STARTING JANAURY 17th

We will no longer be holding our evening Stroller Strides classes at the Brea Sports Park. Starting this Tuesday, nighttime Stroller Strides will be held at the Champions Sports Park in Placentia. Champions Park is located off of Alta Vista and Jefferson (close to Rose Dr.). Class will begin at 5:30 as usual. Please meet your instructor by the playground.

Thirteen-acre lighted sports complex features two Little League baseball fields, one regulation baseball field, two soccer fields, one full- and one half- basketball court. There is ample parking in three lots.

STROLLER STRIDES TEDDY BEAR DRIVE IN FEBRUARY!

Our Community Service Project for this month is a Teddy Bear Drive!

During the first two weeks of the month we ask that each Stroller Strides family bring in a teddy bear to donate to the children of Eli's House. Eli's house is a shelter for abused children. They serve mothers and their children who've experienced domestic violence and/or physical abuse. The families are usually there between 6 and 12 months. During that time, the children are encouraged and taught about their self-worth. The mothers are given job training and classes on parenting.

With your bear please include an encouraging note, quote, etc. as a special Valentine's Day love letter or wish for the child who will recieve your bear. Angela will be delivering the bears to Eli's House on Valentine's Day.

Fit4Baby is here!

We are proud to announce the arrival of Fit4Baby classes in North Orange County! Stroller Strides of North Orange County offers Fit4Baby classes exclusively through St. Jude's Centers for Rehabilitation and Wellness. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. To enroll please call (800)870-7537 or go to www.stjudemedicalcenter.org. You will need to click on Wellness & Fitness Tab and then click on “Class & Events Schedule.” Classes are $12 each or $150 for an 8 week block of classes (2 classes each week).

What makes our program unique?

We are more than a stroll in the park! Stroller Strides of Yorba Linda, Placentia and Fullerton, California is the premiere stroller fitness program in the area. We offer a complete head to toe total body workout, led by specially trained instructors, who are moms just like you. The best part is that your baby(ies) comes along for the ride and you both get to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. During the workout our instructors incorporate interaction with your child through songs, counting, learning ABC's and color recognition.

We are now accepting applications for the Winter L.E.A.N. program!

L.E.A.N. (Learn Eating Awareness and Nutrition) is an 8 week lifestyle weight management program designed to help you achieve a balanced body and a balanced mind. L.E.A.N. is based on a very positive, empowering approach to health. Using behavior and cognitive modification, stress reduction and social support, clients discover how to take the power out of food, and get off the diet cycle for life. This program gives women the tools they need to make healthy, positive changes in their lives.

Weather Policy

In the event of rain or unhealthy air quality, an email is sent out 1 hour prior to class time to let you know if class will be canceled or we will meet at an alternate location.
