Moms on the Run Pearland 5K training program
If you ever dreamed of making it to the finish line, but don't know where to start, this program is for you! Moms on the Run Pearland is an 8 week training session for all moms. Any mom is welcome, whether your baby is 6 weeks or 16! Our program is designed for the beginner runner to accomplish a 5K race (3.1 miles). You will also learn about running form, injury prevention, increasing speed/distance and choosing the right shoe from our certified fitness instructor, Heather Davis. Our fall session begins Thursday September 9th at 7:00 p.m at Southdown Park. Babies and children in jogging strollers are welcome at running sessions. New location for Fit4Baby!
We are excited to move our Fit4Baby classes to the brand new Pearland Rec Center beginning Monday, August 9th. Childcare is available for $5/child. If you are a member of the Rec Center, child care is included.

What makes Stroller Strides Unique?
We are not just a walk in the park! Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies and young children. It includes power walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing (that we provide) and the stroller. Taught by certified instructors (who are also moms), it is a great workout for any fitness level. It's a ton of fun and a great way to connect with other moms.
All you need is you, your baby and a stroller. Just about any kind of stroller will do as long as it's not prone to tipping (no umbrella strollers please). Bring water, a hat or sunblock for both you and your baby, and a towel/mat for ground exercises.
Our first priority is the happiness of your baby, so don't worry if yours gets fussy. We will do our very best to make the class enjoyable for both you and your baby.
What is Fit4Baby?
Fit4Baby are mom only prenatal classes. Our one hour workouts are interval based, combining cardiovascular, strength, balancing and stretching exercises. Pregnancy is the perfect time to commit to you and your baby's health. Exercise is an important component to your pregnant well being, as well as your strength as a new mom. We want to help you be FIT FOR MOTHERHOOD!

Inclement Weather
Classes will be moved indoors to the Pearland Rec Center gymnasium for heavy rain or extreme temperatures. A location change will be posted to the website 45 minutes before class and you can also call 800-830-0963, option 2 for the weather line. If nothing is posted, class will meet outdoors as usual.
