Tue May 1...Field trip to McKenna Children's Museum
This is an awesome children's museum & they just renovated their Outdoor Exhibit, installing poured rubber under the Climber for safety & comfort. Parking is free! Tickets are $5.50 for everyone 12 mos & up. Those tickets are good all day until they close at 5pm.
Mon May 7...Lunch at Tycoon Flats
Join us after class for yummy food & play time for the kiddos. Tycoon Flats is right down the street from Brackenridge Park & only 15 mins from Hardberger.
Tue May 8...Lunch at El Chaparral
El Chaparral is good food with a nice patio & a playscape for the kids. It's just a short 10 minute drive down Bandera from OP Schnabel park.
Mon May 14...Private Story time event at Learning Express Alamo Quarry Market
Learning Express Toy Store in Alamo Quarry Market is setting up a private event just for Stroller Strides of North San Antonio! We will have a story time, songs, & snacks provided. And the best part? It's free!! The story will be geared for toddler age & younger. It's located only 10 mins from Brackenridge, 15 mins from Hardberger, & 20 mins from OP so I've allowed enough time for all parks to attend after class.
Tue May 22...Painting Party/Get Fit Challenge Results at The Royal Canvas
Only $35 for a 2 hour private painting party (7:30-9:30pm). You can bring any food and beverages you want- adult beverages permitted. They provide plates, glassware, utensils and napkins. They provide refrigeration and/or freezer if needed & ice buckets to keep your beverages chilled. NO ART EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! I've never painted in my life. They walk us step by step through the piece & paint it right along with us. At the end of the night, you take home your canvas & show your family your amazing art skills :) In addition to this fun event, the Get Fit Challenge winners will also be announced. Come support all the Mammas who participated & let's honor their hard work.
