SUSAN G. KOMEN RACE FOR THE CURE
If you've ever dreamed of finishing your first 5K, this program is for you!
- Designed for the beginner and to accomplish a 5K (3/1 miles).
- Learn about running form, injury prevention, increasing speed and distance, and choosing the right shoe.
- Classes meet Saturday mornings for 10 weeks and will finish with the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure on May 1, 2010
-First Class will meet February, 27th 2010 at Voelcker Park/Salado Creek Greenway
-Strollers Optional

*****Cost of Training program is $100 for Stroller Strides members and $130 for non members, cost includes a Team Stroller Strides Running Jersey

We will be hosting a Lunafest in late March. Lunafest is a short film festival filled with stories of reflection and whimsy, hope and humor, grace and perseverance, LUNAFEST films are renowned for celebrating the talents and stories of women. All of the proceeds collected will be donated to The Seton Home and The Breast Cancer Fund.

Stroller Strides of North San Antonio is now offering classes at Voelcker Park on Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30am. The classes will meet at the trail head of Salado Creek Greenway until construction on Voelcker is completed, sometime in Novemeber. To get to the trail head travel south on Old Blanco Rd past the old Roaring Twenties on right and past the bridge on left. Take a right on (what looks like a private drive) Voelcker Lane to parking area at historic homestead.

We would like to Congratulate Angele for being “One Rockin’ Mom”. In the last year she has continued to challenge herself by regularly attending all classes including our more difficult specialty classes. She is a joy to have in our classes.
