Thursday, September 2nd & Friday, September 3rd Card Making: Did you know Grandparent’s Day is on Sunday, September 12th? We are making some cute cards for the Grandparent’s in honor of their special day.

Monday, September 6th: It’s Labor Day! Join us for our free family class at Century Park. Bring your husband, sister or friends. Show everyone that you can get a great workout with the whole family.

Wednesday, September 8th & Thursday, September 9th Patriot Hats: We will make our Patriot Hats and wear them with pride. It’s a simple pattern so that kids of all ages can participate in this craft.

Wednesday, September 15th Mom’s Night Out: It’s time to relax and enjoy a night out at the movies. Our plan is to go and see Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts at the Regal Lincolnshire (if it’s still playing!). The movie is a little over 2 hours. We will be going to the movie sometime in the 7 o’clock hour. The exact time of the movie will be sent out in the weekly email.

Friday, September 17th Snack Craft: It’s time to make something easy, healthy and yummy. Join us as we reward our kids for being good in their strollers while we exercise!

Sunday, September 19th Book Club: We are reading Still Alice by Lisa Genova. Book Club will meet at Reagan’s house in Mundelein. We meet at 7:00 PM and the discussion begins at 7:30 PM. Please RSVP to Eva at evag73@sbcglobal.net
She will email you directions to Reagan’s house.

Monday, September 20th Butts & Guts Specialty Class: It’s time to focus specifically on our butts and our stomachs. This is going to be a fun and challenging class that we will continue to feel even after class has ended.


Wednesday, September 22nd Stuffed Animal Day: Bring your child’s favorite stuffed animal to class today. We will sing songs about animals and read a story after class. All the kids can ‘introduce’ their favorite stuffed friend at the beginning of class during our introductions.

Friday, September 24th Apple Picking Field Trip: It’s time for our annual apple picking field trip. We are going to family owned Heinz Orchard in Green Oaks. They specialize in PURE APPLE PICKING FUN! They accept cash only. A 1/2 peck (approximately 6 pounds of apples) is $8 and a full peck (approximately 12 pounds) is $15. There is no admission fee and parking is free. They should have McIntosh, Jonathan, Empire, Red Delicious and Golden Delicious available. Check out their website at www.heinzorchard.com

Monday, September 27th Magazine Swap: Are there some magazines that you want to read but you don’t subscribe to them? Why buy it from the newsstand for $3 or $4 when you can read it for free! Bring your recent magazines and recycle them to other people that want to read them. This is a great way to check out some new magazines.

Friday, October 1st Long Grove Apple Fest Field Trip: Here’s a preview to our fun October schedule. Join us as we enjoy a beautiful fall day in Long Grove celebrating Apple Festival. Celebrate fall’s favorite fruit and the many delicious ways to enjoy it. Apple cider donuts, brown bag apple pies, hot apple cider, caramel apple lattes and more are traditions at this fun festival.
