Tue Mar 2nd / Wed Mar 3rd Playgroup Story Time - Read Across America. Please join us for Story Time after class. We will also be celebrating March Birthday’s. If you or your child has a birthday in March please see an instructor or playgroup captain if you would like to bring a little treat.
Tue Mar 9th / Wed Mar 10th Playgroup - Cat in the Hat Story and edible craft: We will be reading the Dr. Seuss favorite The Cat in the Hat and creating “Edible Hats” after class. Meet in the center court by Caribou on Wed.

Fri Mar 12th Specialty Class – Partners: We’ll grab a buddy and try out some fun new exercise ideas. This is great for partners in our Healthy Mamma Challenge, but don’t worry if you don’t have a buddy, we’ll partner you up in class. Exercise is always better with a friend, and we’ll teach you some fun new partner exercises you can bring home!
Mon Mar 15th - PJ Day: One of our favorites, just bring the kiddos to class in their PJ’s and stay warm and cozy at class.
Tue Mar 16th / Wed Mar 17th Playgroup - Shamrock Craft and wear GREEN day. We will be making shamrocks after class so please meet in center court by Caribou for some Green fun! Dress yourself and your kids in GREEN for the day!
Fri Mar 19th - Field Trip to Children’s Museum at Navy Pier: We will be taking a trip to the city for some fun at the Navy Pier Children’s museum. We can meet at 11:30 at the food court for lunch, then on to the museum. Mon Mar 22 – Fri Mar 26 - Used Athletic Shoe Drive: Keep your old, used athletic shoes out of the landfills! Bring them to class any day this week, and we will collect them and donate them to Swalco Lake County for the Reuse-A Shoe program. Any brand of athletic shoes will be accepted, but no metal parts (including grommets or cleats) will be allowed. Zippers or eyelets must be cut out before shoes are dropped off. Also not accepted: sandals, boots, water "socks," dress shoes or flip-flops. Shoes should not be wet or muddy, or tied together by their laces. If you have shoes that are in relatively good condition, we encourage you to donate them to a charity that will pass them on to be worn again.

Wed Mar 31st Field Trip - Gymboree Play and Music. We had so much fun last month we are doing it again. We are having a special family Gymboree class. Teacher led, including bubbles, Gymbo, parachute time and lots of other fun activities. The cost is $10 per child and you MUST pre-register and pay by calling Gymboree ahead of time (847-680-5437). Adults must wear socks. The class will be 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of open gym time. Please RSVP to Katie at jkchicago@gmail.com
