Playgroup
Welcome aboard to our new playgroup co-captain, Reese Hughes! Reese and Mary Kay will be sharing responsibilities of planning playgroups. They will take turns planning each month and also help cover for each other. Thank you for planning events we can all look forward to!
Friday, Feb. 5- Airway Lanes 10:30....let the kids bowl a game and maybe a few video games after. Don't forget- even if you have a little one who struggles with the ball- they have plastic dragons to help roll the ball down the lane!
Friday, Feb. 12- Courthouse Valentine's Day Party after Strides...bring valentines to share with all of your friends and there will be cookies to decorate. If you feel like bringing a treat or drinks for the group, please email me and let me know what you are planning. (reesehughes5@hotmail.com)
Wednesday, Feb. 17- Kalamazoo Valley Museum 10:30....meet in the Children's Landscape area and later we can try the new exhibit "Robots & Me".
Friday, Feb. 26- Portage Library 11:00- 12:00...Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss. There will be a movie showing of 'Green Eggs and Ham' while being served real green eggs by Moors Grill Room restaurant- $2.00/ child and no reservations required.
Moms Night Out
WHAT: "Old Favorites"
WHEN: Monday February 22nd 2010

WHERE: Food Dance
DETAILS: We haven't been to our LUNA moms favorite "Food Dance" in quite awhile so I thought I'd bring this oldie but goodie back to our itinerary! To add a little bit to the theme of the evening I thought it would be fun if we all brought a used book that we enjoyed reading to exchange with the other mommies! I'm sure we all have that pile laying around somewhere of great books we've read once and then never picked up again...this is your chance to share it with friends! It's supposed to be fun and a little silly so please join us this month for some mommy time. It's always worth it! Of course we'll also be enjoying drinks and desserts too! Look forward to seeing you there!

WHAT: Candy Making Class
WHEN: Wednesday March 31st, 2010
TIME: 6:30pm
WHERE: Cake n Candy
DETAILS: We will be taking a simple class to learn how to make candies for the ones we love! The theme of the candies will be spring so they would be perfect to add to your Easter Baskets or share at your family spring celebrations. You will not only learn at this class, you will be taking home loads of candy you made yourself, AND the tools to make more in the future! Light Refreshments will be provided and as always, if we're still up to it when the class is over we can go out for a snack! The cost for this class is $25.00, but remember you'll be taking home candy and the tools and know-how to make more!
