Welcome to Luna Moms Club!

Luna Moms Club and Playgroup will be meeting every Wednesday at Indian Riverside Park after class. You do not need to be a Stroller Strides member to join in the fun. Our Playgroup Captain, Nina is in charge of hosting a different activity each week. Some of the activities the babies have enjoyed are making rattles out of water bottles and pasta and exploring different shaped and textured balls. With the babies busy, it gives the moms a chance to talk. If you haven't already done so be sure to sign up for the Luna Moms Club. January 2007 marked the launch of our LUNA Moms Clubs across the country. Stroller Strides is proud to partner with LUNA in offering unique playgroup programs across the country. By being a part of our playgroups, you will not only enjoy fun and playful activities with your children, but will build a tight community of likeminded moms to share advice, tips and laughter! Your LUNA Moms Club will include weekly playgroup activities, monthly Mom's Night Out and a variety of events that contribute to various community and charity needs.


LUNA MOM'S CLUB powered by Stroller Strides:

Heidi Monsour is our Luna Moms Event Coordinator. She organizes all monthly Mom's Night Out get togethers and assists with the quarterly charitable events for Luna Moms group. Heidi is a "National Youth Motivator". During the past ten years she has also worked as the Director of Education for Barbizon Modeling, as an Event Coordinator for SteinMart stores in Tampa, and has been a spokes model for various other companies (from Captain Morgan's Rum to Cadillac). Nina Ferraro is our Playgroup Captain. Nina is a real eastate and estate planning attorney with the law offices of Ferrraro and Associates. Nina was our original playgroup coordinator, but took a leave of absence while she was pregnant with her second child. We are thrilled to have Nina and her creative ideas back with us!!! She is the mom of Joey, who turned 3 in July and Sarah, who was born late August. Welcome back Nina. Nina can be reached at ninaferraro@yahoo.com.

MOMS NIGHT OUT SCHEDULE:

Tuesday, Jan. 26th @ 7:00 PM - Margarita Night. Join the Luna Moms for Margaritas and Mexican food at Rancho Chico, 91 SW Monterey Rd. in Stuart (located behind BJs Sports Bar). We have had MNO here in the past and it is always a good time!

Thursday, Feb. 25th @ 6:00 PM - Decadent Desserts Night. Join the Luna Moms for yummy dessert at TooJays, 2504 SE Federal Hwy in Stuart (located in the Steinmart Shopping Center). Come and get your chocolate fix! They have fabulous Cheesecake and Carrot Cake too!

Saturday, March 13th - Grab a friend and join the Luna Moms at LUNAFEST!

LUNAFEST is a national womens film festival being hosted locally by the Junior League of Martin County. This event also includes a Women's Exposition, Silent Auction and Cocktail Reception. The first 400 attendees will also receive a bag of goodies from the event sponsors!
