Stroller Strides Happenings

THERE WILL BE NO CLASS ON THURSDAY/FRIDAY NOVEMBER 24TH ADN 25TH ~ ENJOY THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WITH YOUR FAMILY.

Effective Tuesday, September 6th all classes will be held at the Sewall's Point Park on the corner of East Ocean Blvd. and Indian River Drive. The park is on the SE corner of the intersection ~ look for the white gazebo. We will meet in the parking lot and hold our warm up in the park before making our way up the bridges and thru the lovely neighborhood of Sewalls Point. We will be stopping along the way to incorporate exercises; lunges, squats, push-ups, resistance work etc. We will finish at the park with a cool down and ab work. Then stay with your little one and enjoy the playground and get to know the other moms from class.

In addition to Stroller Strides, our franchise will be among the first in the country to offer Body Back – the newest program to be rolled out by Stroller Strides founder, Lisa Druxman. For more information click on the Body Back logo to the right.

We are excited to announce that we are now offering Body Back in Palm City. Our Fall sessions have just started and registration will be available soon for our upcoming New Years sessions begining in January. The Body Back program consists of 8 weeks of classes (2 classes/week) and will include the nutritional component along with the food journals and dvd's. Morning and evening classes will be available. A nonrefundable check for $50 is required to hold your spot for the evening class. Your check will not be cashed until the session begins. Thank You for your understanding with this new policy.

WHAT IS BODY BACK®?
It is a results based workout program for moms of any age. Inspired by the Mama Wants her Body Back video series it offers high intensity, interval workouts along with before and after fitness assessments and support so that you will see weight loss, increased strength and energy. Unleash your personal possibilities. It's about giving YOU the "Strength for Motherhood". No matter the age of your children, you deserve some mom-ME time. This program will take your body to the level. It will challenge you so that you can see what you CAN do...I'm excited to see the lives and bodies that will transform!

WHAT IS STROLLER STRIDES

We are all about total wellness for moms and kids. We would like to invite you to come out and try a class for FREE. Stroller Strides is having a personal trainer with quality childcare provided at a fraction of the cost!!!

How are you doing with your fitness and wellness goals? Do you need a little extra motivation? Stroller Strides is a great program to give you that boost. Research shows that when you commit to a group exercise program you're more likely to stick with it. Someone is counting on you to be there! With Stroller Strides, you don't have to put your baby in childcare to workout and you get to meet a ton of new moms just like you.

Pregnant? You can do these workouts too!

Our hour-long classes consist of a warm-up followed by intervals of cardio and strength training using exercise bands, the environment and the stroller. We save time for abs and flexibility at the end of class. It is a great total body workout for all fitness levels! Everyone works at their own pace because we offer modifications for every exercise.

New research shows that you burn 20% more calories pushing a stroller than walking alone. It's akin to pushing a lawnmower around or walking/running uphill!

Interval workout (alternating cardio and strength training) has recently been proven to get you back in shape as effectively as longer segments of either type of exercise. You allow your body to recover from one interval as you focus on the next but you keep your heart rate and metabolism up! Come on out and see what we're all about and keep up with those healthy goals.

What is Special About Our Program......

In addition to a great workout, you can meet some amazing new moms and kids. Our program also offers our Luna Mom Playgroup (at no additional cost) that consists of weekly playgroups after class, monthly moms night out activities, field trips, playdates and special community events. The moms in our Stroller Strides program are here to make changes in their fitness, but also to talk about their new babies, share stories, listen to advice and learn from eachother.

Babies are Stroller Strides' priority, so don't worry if yours is fussy! Classes are taught by nationally certified instructors who are moms-- just like you--and structure the class so that moms can make baby happy and not miss out on the work out.

Whatever your fitness level, Stroller Strides will give you the work out you need. You create the intensity and Stroller Strides creates the fun for you and your baby. I challenge all of you to meet your fitness goals and step up your pace and really push yourself!
