Aloha my name is Jill! I am the proud mother of 3 girls Makaila 8, Alexis 5, and Briella 1 year. I have been a part of Stroller Strides since our oldest Makaila was 4 months. I started out taking classes, became playgroup leader, then instructor, and now franchisee.
I have taught classes in just about every location on the island and worked for at least 6 different owners. Here I am with Stroller Strides 8 years and 3 girls later. I am happy to say our older girls (8 and 5) have grown up with Stroller Strides. It looks like our youngest Briella will too.
I am truly passionate about fitness. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years now. I started out as a personal trainer and continue to train part time. I was always into running and working out at the gym, but when I met my husband 11 years ago, he encouraged me to do a triathlon and marathon. I have done many different distance running races all the way up to marathons. I have also done many different triathlon distance races all the way up to my longest being a Half Ironman. My goal one day is to do a full Ironman Triathlon! Maybe when our girls are older.
I am so grateful to still be a part of Stroller Strides! It is an amazing program with so much to offer Moms. My love for health and fitness make me want to continue on to show other Moms out there that whatever your fitness goal may be, you can achieve it. What a better place to do it then Stroller Strides!
ABOUT STROLLER STRIDES OF EWA BEACH
Our classes here in Ewa Beach are geared towards all fitness levels, from the postpartum mom, all the way up to the mom training for a marathon. We run or walk to different locations where we stop to do our circuits. This may include exercises using resistance tubing, body weight, free weights, cardio bursts, sprinting, games, pliometrics, and so much more. Can you think of a better way to get in shape then to be outdoors in this beautiful place we live with your little by your side.
Our group here in Ewa also does Moms Nights Out, Beach Days, Moms Days Out, and Family Days. Our fun playgroups for the keiki are every Wednesday at 10:00 following class lead by Gina with circle time and Angela with activities. We have an amazing group of moms and keiki here in Ewa Beach, and I am so great full to know you all. I look forward to getting to know those that I don't know well even better.
