It's official! We've (finally) had our first snow fall of the season. Here are some reminders to help get us through the winter at Stroller Strides!
- In an effort to keep the floor as dry as possible, if snow is on the ground, please bring a large towel to park your stroller on while the snow melts.
- We highly recommend wearing snow boots and changing in to your gym shoes once you are inside
- The floor starts to get a little dirtier with salty tire wheels, don't forget your yoga mat or blanket to keep your hands clean and for your little one to camp out on.
- Don't leave your tubes in the car! Extreme temperature changes can cause your tubes to become brittle and snap. Toss your tubes in your diaper bag instead of your stroller. And remember, tubes aren't toys! Keep them safely away from your little ones when they are in your house.
- ALLOW EXTRA TIME! It takes extra time to get settled with all of the layers. Be sure to allow yourself at least 5 extra minutes of "settle" time when you get to class- in colder temperatures in particular, the warmup is a crucial part of your workout and we'd hate for you to be running behind and miss it.
- Class Cancellations- we will only cancel class in the event of EXTREME weather conditions- if in question, call the weather hotline 800.337.0826 an hour before class time for an update, or check our Facebook page

Come join us for a workout at the Windy City Fieldhouse- we've got classes 5 days a week. Not only will you be able to get a great workout in a supportive, encouraging group of fellow mom's, but your little one will make friends and have a blast as well. What is Body Back? It is a results based workout program for moms of any age. Classes offer high intensity, interval workouts, along with before and after assessments, meal plan, coaching and support in an inspirational and motivational program.
$299 for 8 week program, $249 for returning Body Backers
2 sessions to choose from:
Monday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 8:00 am- 1/9/12-3/3/12
Wednesday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 8:00 am- 1/11/12-3/3/12

Moms-to-be, are you looking for a great way to stay active during your pregnancy? Fit4Baby is a prenatal fitness program, designed to strengthen the body for all of the changes it will experience during pregnancy. The 60 minutes class includes cardio, strength, flexibility and balance training. Fit4Baby is designed to accommodate all stages of pregnancy and various fitness levels. Please check out the details for the class on the schedule page. The next session begins January 10th! Classes are for moms-to-be only (no other children). Do you love Stroller Strides? Help us spread the word! All currently enrolled 10-Block pass holders or Monthly Members will receive $25 off for every friend they refer that signs up at their preview class for the Monthly Membership and $10 off for each friend that signs up for a 10-block pass. The special is applied toward your next month's membership or your next punchcard purchase. And please remember that your friend must write your name on their registration card or we will have no way of knowing that you referred them.
There are no refunds, credits or transfers on class packages or memberships. The 10-block passes expire 6 months from date of purchase. To cancel your monthly membership, you must give 30 days written notice in the form of an email to Jackie at jackied@strollerstrides.net. You can put your monthly membership on hold for up to 4 months a year in month long increments, but again, you must give 30 days written notice in the form of an email to Jackie at jackied@strollerstrides.net.
