Class will be canceled only when weather conditions appear to pose a hazard. Classes are NOT canceled for light rain or drizzle; instructors will be available to teach. A voice announcement will be posted one hour before class time at (888) 232-2397 (press option 1) if class is canceled or moved to another venue.

After a summer haitus, Saturday classes at Chastain Park are returning on Saturday, September 11 with a Couple's Class! Bring your significant other to experience all there is to know and love about Stroller Strides. The kids love seeing the dads at class, exercising with Mommy! Can't talk him into it? Come alone!

Saturday classes will be at 9:30 at Chastain Park. On Saturdays we meet on Pool Road/Elliott Galloway Way, near the intersection with W. Weiuca. It's in between the pool/Galloway School and the horse park, across from the tennis courts.

It's with mixed emotions that I announce that the Stroller Strides Atlanta franchise is up for sale. I've been involved with Stroller Strides first as a mom, then an instructor, and finally the owner for almost 5 years and it's time for me to move on to other adventures. I love Stroller Strides and have met such amazing women (and children)!

Stroller Strides is consistently listed as one of the top franchises in the country, and is a great way to work while staying home with your kids! The Atlanta territory runs from Dunwoody to Grant Park and has tons of potential for expansion into other parks and locations.

Dust off your camera for the September Challenge! Bring your camera to class and take pictures! Shoot your children (figuratively, not literally!), your fellow mommies, the skyline, whatever strikes you! Submit your photos (no maximum, so submit as many as you like!) to atlanta@strollerstrides.net by Saturday, September 25. The instructors will pick the winner! Want to check out the competition? The book for our September Book Club will be " One Day" by David Nicholls. We will meet on Tuesday, September 28 at 8pm at the Buckhead location of Cafe Intermezzo.

Like planning ahead? For October we'll be reading " Little Bee" by Chris Cleave. The October meeting will be Tuesday, October 26, same time, same place!
