Class Update
In observation of Labor Day, there will be no Stroller Strides classes held on Monday, September 6th!
As of September 7th, our Tuesday/Thursday class at Katherine Rose Park/MAC will be moved permanently to 9:30am.
Now offering Stroller Strides and Body Back!
WHAT IS BODY BACK ??? Body Back is an eight week results based workout/nutrition program designed specifically for moms of ALL AGES! Program includes before and after assessments, three HIIT (high intensity, interval training)workouts per week (no kids), full meal plan and food diary, online coaching/support group. It also includes monthly Mom's Night Out and quarterly 'give back' to the community events. (Eight week results based program)
WHAT IS STROLLER STRIDES ??? Stroller Strides is a total fitness program for moms that they can do with their baby/child in tow in the beautiful outdoors. It includes Power Walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing, the stroller and outdoor environment. It also includes weekly organized playgroups,monthly Mom's Night Out and quarterly 'give back' to the community events. (Ongoing regular classes, month to month membership)
Depending on your schedule, age of kids, or personal workout preference - pick the one that is a right fit for you. REMEMBER, BOTH PROGRAMS WERE CREATED TO GIVE US MOMS.....THE STRENGTH for MOTHERHOOD !!!
All classes are taught by trained and certified fitness professionals who are also moms.

Fit4Baby
This (pregnant)mom only workout is great for any trimester and will focus on preparing you to be Fit for Motherhood. A great workout and essential education combined. Leave the kiddos at home and join us for some quality bonding time with your new baby.

No one to watch your other kiddos, no worries, join us for our traditional Stroller Strides workouts 6 mornings a week, which of course are also open to pregnant mommies!

Real Mom Experiences with Stroller Strides
~~~~~~~~~~ Julie L. writes: Stroller Strides and Luna Moms have been a lifesaver. I joined Stroller Strides fairly early in my pregnancy and liked the fact that I could adjust the program to my fitness level. I also appreciated that the instructors are knowledgeable about exercises that should be avoided or adjusted during pregnancy in order to keep pregnant group members safe.
I managed to lose most of my pregnancy weight very soon after giving birth to my son, and I feel that one of the main reasons that my body bounced back so fast was because I kept so active through Stroller Strides during my pregnancy. The group members are so friendly and really helped to keep me motivated. Stroller Strides makes exercise fun, and the hour really flies by. Maggie is such a positive person and she really keeps us moving!
Not only did the group keep me physically active, they have also been a great form of support through Luna Moms. I knew nothing about babies and children when I joined. The moms were happy to answer my questions, no matter how silly these questions might have been, and I feel that I found a community that really cares about our little family. I really don’t know what I would have done without this special group of people. I would recommend this Stroller Strides/Luna Moms whole-heartedly to anyone who wants to exercise while spending quality time with their children. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My son, Ethan, and I have been going to stroller strides for almost 1 year! I was giong completely insane staying home and my "after baby body" needed some work. I could not imagine leaving my new baby at a local gym daycare while I tried to workout. I was so glad to hear I could get a good workout, meet some awesome, local moms, and entertain my baby at the same time. Maggie has been a great instructor, friend, and source of all kinds of new mommy information. The other moms made me feel welcome right away and now I love to welcome the new members. I know how important this class has been to me and am glad so many moms want to check it out. Also I love the variety of workouts at both parks and the mall since I am a "yo-yo exerciser."1 year later and I'm back to pre-pregnacy size (although some things are never the same...) and have a huge network of friends that help each other get thru the day to day mommy issues (good and bad.)
